Critical reception ''These Days'' is the twentieth studio album by Christian singer Sandi Patty. It was released on November 14, 2000, on Word Records. It is Patty's first new studio album of Christian material since 1997's '' Artist of My Soul'' and a return to her Christian AC/Pop sound reminiscent of '' Find It on the Wings'' and ''Le Voyage'' with songwriting contributions from Kathy Troccoli, Cindy Morgan, Scott Krippayne and Chris Eaton. Long-time producer Greg Nelson produces three tracks including a cover of Michael and Stormie Omartian's "One More Song for You," originally recorded by The Imperials. Production duties also handled by Brent Bourgeois, Phil Naish and Hal S. Batt on the Spanglish duet "Solo El Amor (Only Love)" with Latin singer Miguel Angel Guerra. Sandra Faye "Sandi" Patty (born July 12, 1956) is an American Christian music singer, known for her wide soprano vocal range and expressive flexibility. Biography Early life Patty was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, into a family of musicians; her father was a minister of music, and her mother served as the church pianist. She first performed at the age of two when she sang "Jesus Loves Me" for her church, Phoenix First Church of God. First growing up in Phoenix, then San Diego, she and her brothers joined their parents in a performing group known as "The Ron Patty Family", and sang at churches nationwide during summer holidays. Eddie DeGarmo (born October 3, 1954) is an American contemporary Christian music recording artist, keyboardist, producer and singer. He became best friends with guitarist/lead vocalist Dana Key in first grade, and co-founded the Christian rock group DeGarmo and Key with him in 1978. Kelly Minter (born September 23, 1975) is a Christian worship leader, author, speaker, songwriter, and musician. The daughter of a pastor, Minter grew up in Northern Virginia and as a teenager was more interested in sports than music. When she was a senior in high school, Minter was offered and then lost a college basketball scholarship. To help her recover from that disappointment, Minter started playing the guitar. In 1999 she headed to Nashville, Tennessee. Then in 2001 she started her career as a recording artist with her major-label debut, ''Good Day''. Spanglish

The Imperials
The Imperials are an American Christian music group that has been active for over 55 years. Originating as a southern gospel quartet, the innovative group would become pioneers of contemporary Christian music in the 1960s. There have been many changes for the band in membership and musical styles over the years. They would go on to win four Grammys, 15 Dove Awards and be inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame. Stormie Omartian () is an American Christian author. She is married to Michael Omartian, with whom she recorded five musical albums before she launched her writing career. Early career Omartian aspired to be a singer and actress at a young age.
