"There Goes Our Love Again" is a song by English Indie rock band White Lies from their third studio album, '' Big TV''. It was released on 5 August 2013 as the first official single to promote the album. The song received its first airplay on 18 June 2013, exclusively on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show, and was later made available to listen on White Lies' SoundCloud profile. A number of 500 limited edition copies of the single – each individually numbered – was released on 10" vinyl. The cover artwork for the single is a fragment of a painting entitled "Based On Actual Events: Scene 1" by New York City-based artist Michael Kagan. White Lies (band)
White Lies are an English post-punk revival band from Ealing, London. Formerly known as Fear of Flying, the core band members are Harry McVeigh (lead vocals, guitar), Charles Cave (bass guitar and backing vocals), and Jack Lawrence-Brown (drums). The band performs live as a five-piece, when they are joined by Tommy Bowen and Rob Lee. White Lies formed in October 2007, after writing songs that they felt didn't suit their original band. After delaying their first performance for five months to build up media hype, they earned a recording contract with Fiction Records days after their debut. The release of singles " Unfinished Business" and "Death" led to tours and festival appearances in the United Kingdom and North America, including a headline performance at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend and a place on the 2009 ''NME'' Awards Tour. Rivoli Ballroom
The Rivoli Ballroom is the only intact 1950s ballroom remaining in London, England. It is famed for its original decor and interior fittings, including red velvet, flock wallpaper, chandeliers, glitter balls and oversized Chinese lanterns. The venue is often used as a film location and plays host to many dance and musical events. History The current building was originally the ''Crofton Park Picture Palace'' which opened in July 1913. It was designed by Henley Attwater with a simple barrel-vaulted auditorium. It became The Rivola Cinema in 1929. The last film there was shown on 2 March 1957 after which the building was converted to a dance hall by local businessman Leonard Tomlin. It reopened as The Rivoli on Boxing Day, 1959 with a large Canadian sprung maple dance floor. Further improvements were made with the addition of a Member's Bar in 1960.
