''There's No Leaving Now'' is the third studio album by Swedish folk artist The Tallest Man on Earth, released on 11 June 2012 on Dead Oceans. The album was preceded by the single "1904", released as a digital download on 15 May 2012. The track was also made available as a free download on ''Rolling Stones official website. Background The album was recorded during a five-month-long session in Kristian Matsson's home, where he lived with his then wife Amanda Hollingby Matsson. The release of the album was announced in March 2012, together with the record's track list and artwork. During an interview released to American magazine ''Rolling Stone'', Matsson explained the sound of ''There's No Leaving Now'': "I wanted to build something that didn't sound like a rock band, but wasn't super minimalistic. Kristian Matsson (born 30 April 1983) is a Swedish singer-songwriter who performs under the stage name The Tallest Man on Earth. Matsson grew up in Leksand, and began his solo career in 2006, having previously been the lead singer of the indie band Montezumas. His music has often drawn comparisons to the music of Bob Dylan. Since 2006, Matsson has released five full-length albums and two EPs. He records and produces these in his home, and usually records his voice and guitar together on one track. He is known for his charismatic stage presence. He was previously married to Amanda Bergman, also known by the stage name ''Idiot Wind''. The Official Charts (legal name: The Official UK Charts Company Limited) is a British inter-professional organization that compiles various "official" record charts in the United Kingdom, Ireland and France. In the United Kingdom, its charts include ones for singles, albums and films, with the data compiled from a mixture of downloads, purchases (of physical media) and streaming. Sverigetopplistan (, lit. "the Sweden top list") is the Swedish national record chart, formerly known as Topplistan (1975–1997) and Hitlistan (1998–2007) and known by its current name since October 2007, based on sales data from the Swedish Recording Industry Association (in Swedish Grammofonleverantörernas förening). Amanda Bergman is a Swedish singer-songwriter from Dalarna. She has previously performed and released music under the stage names Idiot Wind (from Bob Dylan's song of the same name) and Hajen. Career Karin Amanda Bergman Hollingby began her professional career under the stage name Hajen (Swedish for "the shark") and used the name Idiot Wind from 2010 to 2014.
