Theodoriana
Theodoriana ( el, Θεοδώριανα) is a village and former community in the Arta regional unit, Epirus, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform, it is part of the municipality, Central Tzoumerka, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 44.398 km2. In 2011 its population was 163 for the village and 173 for the community (including the village Skarpari). Northeast is the Trikala regional unit. The Pindos and the Athamanian mountains cross the northeastern part. The Acheloos river flows by the village along with the GR-30 (Arta - Trikala). The entire area of Theodoriana are mountains and pine trees along with forests dominate the whole municipality except for the upper parts and the valley areas where farmlands are located. Some of its residents live only during the summer months and leave during the winter months. ''Μenoume Ellada'' ( el, Μένουμε Ελλάδα, translation: "We stay in Greece") is a Greek television series, aired by the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation. It is aired Monday to Friday at 2pm (EET) on ET1 (Greece), ET1 and 01:00 UTC (00:00 UTC during daylight hours) on ERT World (until November 2006 ERT Sat). Agnanta
Agnanta ( el, Άγναντα) is a village and a former municipality in the Arta regional unit, Epirus, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Central Tzoumerka, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 124.344 km2. Agnanta is one of the largest villages of the Tzoumerka region. The population of the municipal unit is 1,800 (2011). It is located at a distance of 55 km north of the city of Arta and east of the city of Ioannina. The geographical center of the village has an altitude of 650–700 m, while some of its highest districts approach an altitude of 1000 m. Theodorus Of Athamania
Theodorus of Athamania was king of the Athamanians in south-eastern Epirus. He is known otherwise only from the Delian temple inventories: his daughter Phila made dedications there before 225 BC. Arta ( el, Περιφερειακή ενότητα Άρτας) is one of the regional units of Greece. It is part of the Epirus region. Its capital is the town of Arta. Geography The regional unit of Arta is located north of the Ambracian Gulf. The main mountain ranges are the Athamanika in the northeast, the Pindus in the east, and Valtou in the southeast. Only one mountain road links Arta with the Pineios valley and Thessaly. There are low-lying agricultural plains in the west. Arta borders on the regional units of Preveza in the west, Ioannina to the north, Trikala in the east, Karditsa to the east and Aetolia-Acarnania to the south. The main rivers are the Acheloos in the east, the Arachthos in the centre, and the Louros in the west. Most of the population lives in the west, in the Arachthos valley, south and east of Arta. Greek National Road 30
National Road 30 ( el, Εθνική Οδός 30, abbreviated as EO30) is a single carriageway road in central Greece. It connects the cities of Arta and Volos, via Trikala and Karditsa. Route The western end of the Greek National Road 30 is in Arta, where it is connected with GR-5. It runs northeast through the sparsely populated Athamanika mountains, until it reaches the town Pyli, where it enters the Thessalian Plain. At Trikala it connects with the GR-6, and turn southeast towards Karditsa, where it turns east. The section between Neo Monastiri and Farsala is shared with the GR-3. The Motorway 1 is crossed at Mikrothives. At Nea Anchialos the GR-30 reaches the coast of the Pagasetic Gulf.
