Theo Lengyel
Theobald Brooks "Theo" Lengyel (born September 30, 1969) is a musician best known as the former alto saxophonist for the influential experimental-rock band Mr. Bungle. Lengyel first worked with the band on the demo "The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny", and later joined as a full-time member. He appears on the band's first two major label albums, ''Mr. Bungle'' (1991) and '' Disco Volante'' (1995), and also appears along with several other Mr. Bungle members as a special guest on the Melt Banana song "Area 877 hoenix Mix, from their 1998 album '' Charlie''. According to Mr. Bungle bassist Trevor Dunn Trevor Roy Dunn (born January 30, 1968) is an American composer, bass guitarist, and double bassist. Alto Saxophone
The alto saxophone is a member of the saxophone family of woodwind instruments. Saxophones were invented by Belgian instrument designer Adolphe Sax in the 1840s and patented in 1846. The alto saxophone is pitched in E, smaller than the B tenor but larger than the B soprano. It is the most common saxophone and is used in popular music, concert bands, chamber music, solo repertoire, military bands, marching bands, pep bands, and jazz (such as big bands, jazz combos, swing music). The alto saxophone had a prominent role in the development of jazz. ''Charlie'' is the third album by Melt-Banana. This album was the first release on their own label, A-Zap. ''Charlie'' features guest appearances by Mike Patton and Mr. Bungle on the song "Area 877 hoenix Mix. Mike Patton says: "MELT... Trevor Dunn
Trevor Roy Dunn (born January 30, 1968) is an American composer, bass guitarist, and double bassist. He came to prominence in the 1990s with the experimental band Mr. Bungle. While performing with Mr. Bungle, Dunn would dress similar to the St. Pauli Girl. He has since worked in an array of musical styles, including with saxophonist/composer John Zorn, Secret Chiefs 3 and with his own avant-garde jazz/rock ensemble Trevor Dunn's Trio-Convulsant.
