''The Wu-Tang Manual'' is a guide to the Wu-Tang Clan written by prominent member and producer RZA and Chris Norris. The manual explains Wu-Tang terms, Wu-Tang members, merchandise, movies and inspirations. Content It is divided into four books each containing nine chambers totaling 36 chambers. Included are biographies of each member, an explanation of various slang used by the group, a history on the Wu-Tang Clan logo, and explanations of influences, which include the Nation of Gods and Earths, chess, comic books, drugs, and martial arts. RZA's views on music, spirituality, philosophy, and producing, and a guide to the meanings of several songs are also included. Goodreads is an American social cataloging website and a subsidiary of Amazon that allows individuals to search its database of books, annotations, quotes, and reviews. The Tao Of Wu
''The Tao of Wu'' is the second philosophical book written by Wu-Tang Clan member and Hip hop production, producer, RZA. It is a sequel to ''The Wu-Tang Manual''. Content The book details RZA's personal path towards Enlightenment (spiritual), enlightenment. In the book he uses hip-hop lyrics, autobiographical anecdotes, and parables, to explain how he was simultaneously inspired by Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, Bruce Lee, and Islam. His philosophies are listed under seven "Pillars of Wisdom", which he considers as seven "key turning points in his life" that he hopes to share on the book's readers. The number seven is symbolic in itself, representing consciousness in numerology, god in the Supreme Mathematics of the Nation of Gods and Earths, and considered a divine number in several faiths such as Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Wu-Tang Clan
Wu-Tang Clan is an American hip hop group formed in Staten Island, New York City, in 1992. Five-Percent Nation
The Five-Percent Nation, sometimes referred to as the Nation of Gods and Earths (NGE/NOGE) or the Five Percenters, is a Black nationalist movement influenced by Islam that was founded in 1964 in the Harlem section of the borough of Manhattan, New York City, by Allah the Father, who was previously known as Clarence 13X and, before that, Clarence Edward Smith. ''Iron Flag'' is the fourth studio album by American East Coast hip hop collective Wu-Tang Clan, released on December 18, 2001 on Loud Records. It was certified gold in sales by the RIAA. ''Iron Flag'' served as the group's second lowest-selling album (687,000 copies), as their record label, Loud, was on the verge of shutting down at the time.
