The Wild Weird World Of Dr. Goldfoot
''The Wild Weird World of Dr. Goldfoot'' was a 30-minute TV special which was a sequel to '' Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine'' (1965). It aired on ABC as an episode of '' Shindig!'' in November 1965. Plot Dr. Goldfoot and his assistant Hugo send their robot woman Diane to entrap Malcolm Andrews, who contains all the knowledge of the world in his head. Diane sets out to seduce Andrews but is stopped by government agent 001/2 of Security Intelligence Command (SIC). Diane and the agent begin a romance, and Goldfoot and Hugo capture Andrews. Diane brings the agent to Goldfoot's lair where Goldfoot intends to kill him. However Diane turns against Goldfoot and overpowers him. There is a floorshow. Mel Ferber
Mel Ferber (October 2, 1922 – June 19, 2003) was a television director and producer, who oversaw the live two-hour TV presentation of ''Wonderful Town'' and the pilot for ''60 Minutes'' and other shows. Ferber was an executive producer of ''Good Morning America''. He was a member of the Directors Guild of America. Biography Ferber was born and raised in New York City, and was a graduate of City College of New York. He became a World War II hero when, after landing at Utah Beach, he and four other members of his unit captured 464 German soldiers and used their weapons to rearm a French battalion (earning him the Croix de Guerre with Silver Star). He entered the TV industry after he was discharged. As a member of CBS, Ferber directed ''Wonderful Town'', the first live two-hour show on TV, in 1958. Susan Hart (born June 2, 1941) is an American actress, and the widow of American International Pictures (AIP) co-founder James H. Nicholson. Early years Before she became an actress, Hart worked for a telephone company in Palm Springs, managed a dress shop in California, and sold clothes in Hawaii. Jerry Styner
Jerry Howard Styner (born June 18, 1936) is an American songwriter, musician, and former record producer. He has written scores for or had his compositions featured in over 30 films. Some of the artists he has worked with include Chet Baker for his ''Blood, Chet and Tears'' album, Solomon Burke for his ''We're Almost Home'' album and many others. For several years he served as a staff minister at the Center for Spiritual Living in Palm Desert, California. He lives with his daughter in Guatemala. Career In the late 1950s or early 1960s, Styner went under the name of Rusty Howard and was in the music group called The Rhythm Rangers. Along with Lyricist Guy Hemric (1931-1993), they were a team that were very prolific in writing for films during the 1960s. Many of these films were the B-grade type, including the Beach Party films. Harvey Lembeck (April 15, 1923 – January 5, 1982) was an American comedic actor best remembered for his role as Cpl. Rocco Barbella on ''The Phil Silvers Show'' (a.k.a. ''Sgt. Bilko'', a.k.a. Stanley Ralph Ross (July 22, 1935 – March 16, 2000) was an American writer and actor. He was raised in Brooklyn, New York, starting his career in advertising with Chudacoff and Margulis Advertising in West Los Angeles, then soon going to work as a writer on various television shows such as the 1960s ''Batman'' series starring Adam West and also ''The Monkees'', and developed ''Wonder Woman'' for television with Douglas S. Cramer. Ross was sometimes credited as Sue Donem, a pun on "pseudonym". Career In 1958, Ross teamed with Bob Arbogast to write and record the novelty record "Chaos, parts 1 and 2".
