''The Videos 1989–2004'' is a video album by American heavy metal band Metallica, released on DVD in December 2006. It features all of the band's videos from 1989 to 2004. In its first week of release, the DVD sold 28,000 copies. The menus of the DVD play excerpts of different Metallica songs, including "The Outlaw Torn" (''Load''), "My Friend of Misery" (''Metallica''), " Bleeding Me" (''Load''), "Carpe Diem Baby" ('' Reload'') and "Prince Charming" (''Reload''). The disc has been released by Warner Bros. Records, although this is not mentioned anywhere except for the packaging and on the label of the disc itself. Copyright is given to Elektra Entertainment and E/M Ventures in the liner notes and the end credits of the DVD. Metallica
Metallica is an American heavy metal band. The band was formed in 1981 in Los Angeles by vocalist/guitarist James Hetfield and drummer Lars Ulrich, and has been based in San Francisco for most of its career. The band's fast tempos, instrumentals and aggressive musicianship made them one of the founding "big four" bands of thrash metal, alongside Megadeth, Anthrax and Slayer. Metallica's current lineup comprises founding members and primary songwriters Hetfield and Ulrich, longtime lead guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Robert Trujillo. "The Unnamed Feeling" is a song by heavy metal band Metallica. It was released on January 12, 2004, as the third single from the band's eighth studio album, '' St. Anger'' (2003). The song is about an unnamed feeling (which, according to James Hetfield, is anxiety) that a person feels when they are close to the edge of losing control, just before he or she panics. Along with a music video, the song was released as a single exclusively to Australia. It was released as part of an E.P. in the UK. The unique video, directed by The Malloys, featured the band performing in a virtually empty room that gradually closed in on them throughout the song. "I Disappear" is a single (music), single by Metallica from the Music from and Inspired by Mission: Impossible 2, ''Mission: Impossible 2'' soundtrack, which released on May 9, 2000. The music and lyrics were written by James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, and they were joined by Bob Rock to produce the song. The song's leak on the file-sharing service Napster prompted the band to Metallica v. Napster, Inc., sue the service. The soundtrack single was released on June 2, 2000. "No Leaf Clover" is the eighth song on the live album '' S&M'' by Metallica and the San Francisco Symphony. The song (along with "- Human") was one of two new pieces completed for the band's collaboration with the San Francisco Symphony in 1999. It begins with an intro section played by the orchestra, before entering into a clean guitar part by James Hetfield. The rest of the piece alternates between clean choruses and verses backed by heavily distorted guitars. Nowadays when the song is performed live, the orchestra backing track or footage of the ''S&M'' performance is used for the orchestra intro. "Turn the Page" is a song originally recorded by Bob Seger in 1971 and released on his ''Back in '72'' album in 1973. "The Unforgiven" is a power ballad by American heavy metal band Metallica. It was released as the second single from their eponymous fifth album ''Metallica'' (also known as ''The Black Album'').
