The Vibe (album)
''The Vibe'' is the first and only studio album by multi-national boy band Lexington Bridge. It was released on 23 November 2007 by Polydor Records. The band worked with a variety of musicians on the album, including Paul NZA, Marek Pompetzki, Remee, Jonas Saeed, Adel Tawil, and Thomas Troelsen. Released to minor commercial success, ''The Vibe'' debuted and peaked at number 86 on the German Albums Chart. It was preceded by the singles "Kick Back" and "Real Man," both of which reached the top 30 and top 20 of the German Singles Chart, respectively. Singles "Kick Back," co-written by Tony Momrelle was released as the album's first single. It peaked at number 24 on the German Singles Chart and reached number 62 in Austria. Second single "Real Man" featuring American rapper Snoop Dogg marked the band's only top 20 hit. It peaked at number 16 in Germany and reached number 66 on the Austrian Singles Chart. Lexington Bridge (band)
Lexington Bridge or otherwise known as LXB was put together in mid-2006 as a boy band by Universal Music after a worldwide search. The group consists of Rob Uncles from the US, Nye Oakley, Dax O'Callaghan and Jerome Simeon from Great Britain and Ephraïm Beks from the Netherlands. They owe their name to Lexington Avenue in New York City. On the other hand, ''Bridge'' alludes to the different countries, cultures, styles of the members and the musical elements such as pop, hip-hop, R&B, and Dance which they bridge together through the art of their music. Musically, the five singers used elements from contemporary R&B, hip-hop, and pop. Tarek Hussein (born 3 July 1978), better known by his stage name Tarééc, is a German R&B singer of Lebanese and Palestinian descent. He was previously part of the German boy band The Boyz where he was known as T-Soul. The Boyz Through the talent show ''Blonds Talent Award'', Hussein got discovered and shortly thereafter made his first studio recording and became a member of the boy band The Boyz in 1996. The Boyz (German Band)
The Boyz was a German boy band formed in Berlin in 1996 with encouragement from music producer Triple-M. Their biggest success was in 1998 when their single "One Minute" made it to the top-10 both in Germany (No. 9) and Switzerland (No. 8). Robert Hart (born 1 November 1958, Bournemouth, Hampshire - now Dorset) is an English vocalist and songwriter. He is currently the lead singer of Manfred Mann's Earth Band and the band Diesel. Mark Daniel Read (born in Worcester Park, London on 7 November 1978) is an English singer/songwriter, best known as member of the boy band A1 from 1998 to 2002, and 2009 to the present.
