Bilal Hajji
Bilal Hajji, sometimes also known as The Chef (at times Bilal "The Chef" or Bilal "The Chef" Hajji) is a Moroccan-Swedish songwriter and record producer. Based in Sweden, of Moroccan origin, he has worked with many worldwide artists and celebrities, such as Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias, Akon, One Direction, Nicki Minaj, Nicole Scherzinger. He has written or co-written many charting hits on the music charts in many International countries. His early success came through co-writing songs for Alexandra Burke, Lady Gaga, Sean Kingston, Kat DeLuna and Swedish acts Darin Zanyar and Mohombi. He achieved recognition for his work in 2005, firstly with the Darin song " Step Up", which reached No. 1 in Sweden and later won him both a Swedish Grammy and Scandinavian Song of the Year award. "Step Up" is a song by Swedish singer Darin, released in September 2005 as the lead single from his second album, '' Darin''. The song was co-written by Darin with RedOne and Bilal Hajji and debuted at number one. Music video The video has a very R&B theme to it featuring Darin singing through a broken window in front of green strobe lights similar to that of Yeah! by U.S. singer Usher. Darin is seen with his dancers performing in front of a wall of graffiti in a basement style setting where there also is a crowded party, with Darin being seen dancing in the crowd. "Breathing Your Love" is a song by the Swedish singer Darin featuring vocals by American singer Kat DeLuna and the first single from Darin's fourth studio album, '' Flashback''. The song is co-written by Darin with RedOne, Bilal Hajji and Novel was released to radio stations and as a digital download in Sweden on 8 October 2008. The single was released in Finland and is also the first single from Darin to be released in the United Kingdom, which it was in January 2010. In October 2009 Swedish astronaut Christer Fuglesang took 2 copies of the single into space with him, as his daughter is a Darin fan.
