The Vaudevillains
The Vaudevillains were an American professional wrestling tag team in WWE, composed of Aiden English and Simon Gotch. Their gimmick was a pair of Vaudeville-era throwbacks. They also wrestled in WWE's developmental territory NXT, where they were one-time NXT Tag Team Champions. History NXT (2014–2016) In June 2014, English formed a tag team with Simon Gotch, known as The Vaudevillains. The Vaudevillains made their in-ring debut as a team of heels on the June 19 episode, defeating Angelo Dawkins and Travis Tyler. In August, The Vaudevillains participated in a tournament to determine the number one contenders to the NXT Tag Team Championship, losing to The Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto) in the final. Aiden English
Matthew Thomas Rehwoldt (born October 7, 1987) is an American color commentator and retired professional wrestler who currently appears in Impact Wrestling where he performs under his real name. He is best known for his time in WWE, where he performed under the ring name Aiden English. Rehwoldt signed a development contract with WWE in 2012 and was assigned to the farm territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) and later to NXT. In NXT, he formed a tag team called The Vaudevillains with Simon Gotch, winning the NXT Tag Team Championship. They were called to the main roster in 2016, but the team ended in 2017 when Gotch was released. English was then paired with Rusev, starting an act where every day was "Rusev Day". R Evolution
NXT TakeOver: R Evolution was the third NXT TakeOver professional wrestling livestreaming event produced by WWE. It was held exclusively for wrestlers from the promotion's developmental territory, NXT. The event aired exclusively on the WWE Network and took place on December 11, 2014, at NXT's home arena, Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. The show marked the WWE in-ring debut of Kevin Owens, who had signed with the company in the months prior to the event. The main event was for the NXT Championship with Adrian Neville defending against Sami Zayn, with the added stipulation for the match being that Zayn would have to leave NXT if he did not win the championship. DIY (professional Wrestling)
DIY (often stylized as #DIY) was an American professional wrestling tag team composed of Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa. The team performed in WWE on the NXT (WWE brand), NXT WWE brand extension, brand. They also occasionally wrestled for other promotions, including AAW Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG). Created on August 13, 2015, the team went on to win the NXT Tag Team Championship before breaking up at NXT TakeOver: Chicago on May 20, 2017 when Ciampa turned on Gargano. American Alpha
American Alpha was a professional wrestling tag team, composed of former amateur wrestlers Jason Jordan and Chad Gable. The team performed on WWE's developmental brand NXT before being moved up to the main roster on the SmackDown brand. The team was disbanded after Jordan moved to the Raw brand on July 17, 2017 while Gable stayed on SmackDown. They were one-time NXT Tag Team Champions and one-time SmackDown Tag Team Champions. FTR (often stylized as #FTR) is an American professional wrestling tag team consisting of Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood. The team is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where they are currently double tag team champions in their first reign each with the AAA World Tag Team Championship from AEW's Mexico based partner promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), and the IWGP Tag Team Championship from another AEW partner promotion, New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). Leva Bates
Leva Bates (born May 21, 1983) is an American professional wrestler signed to All Elite Wrestling. She also had a successful tenure on the independent circuit, most notably for Shimmer Women Athletes. She has also appeared in WWE on their developmental territory NXT under the ring name Blue Pants. Professional wrestling career Early career (2006–2009) Leva Bates was trained at the Team 3D Academy under D-Von Dudley and Bubba Ray Dudley (The Dudley Boyz), and made her professional wrestling debut in 2006.
