The Uplands, briefly known as Balsam Woods, is a future neighbourhood in west Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Subdivision and development of the neighbourhood will be guided by the Riverview Neighbourhood 1 (The Uplands) Neighbourhood Structure Plan (NSP), which was adopted by Edmonton City Council on September 22, 2015. It is located within the Riverview, Edmonton, Riverview area of Edmonton and was originally considered Riverview Neighbourhood 1 within the Riverview Area Structure Plan (ASP). Cameron Heights is a neighbourhood in west Edmonton, Alberta, Canada overlooking the North Saskatchewan River valley. It is bounded on the south by Anthony Henday Drive, on the north and west by a ravine, and on the east by the North Saskatchewan River valley. Anthony Henday Drive
Anthony Henday Drive (Highway 216) is a freeway that encircles Edmonton, Alberta. It is a heavily travelled commuter and truck bypass route with the southwest quadrant serving as a portion of the CANAMEX Corridor that links Canada to the United States and Mexico. Henday is one of the busiest highways in Western Canada, carrying over 108,000 vehicles per day in 2019 at its busiest point near West Edmonton Mall.
