Team
A team is a group of individuals (human or non-human) working together to achieve their goal. As defined by Professor Leigh Thompson (academic), Leigh Thompson of the Kellogg School of Management, "[a] team is a group of people who are interdependent with respect to information, resources, knowledge and skills and who seek to combine their efforts to achieve a common goal". A group does not necessarily constitute a team. Teams normally have members with complementary skills and generate synergy through a coordinated effort which allows each member to maximize their strengths and minimize their weaknesses. TEAM Linhas Aéreas Ltda. (Transportes Especiais Aéreos e Malotes) was a domestic airline based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, founded in 2001. On April 16, 2012, the airline had its operational license suspended and on October 3, 2014, the license was revoked. River Team
The River Team is a tributary of the River Tyne in Gateshead, England. Etymology The name ''Team'' may have a Brittonic origin. The name may be from the Brittonic root ''tā-'', with a sense of "melting, thawing, dissolving", plus a nasal root determinative, giving a form of ''*tā-m-'' or ''*tā-n-''. However, ''Team'' has also been associated with the Indo-European ''*temhx-'', "dark" and ''*tṃh-'', "cut" or "be cut". Course Its source is near Annfield Plain, where it is known as Kyo Burn. Team (horse)
Team (foaled 8 September 1995) is an Argentinian Thoroughbred racehorse. He was named both the 1998 Argentine Horse of the Year as well as 1998 Argentine Champion Two-Year-Old Colt for a campaign during which he won five graded stakes races. Team regularly won by multiple lengths and set two national speed records, at distances of 800 and 1000 meters. Background Team was a solid dark bay bred by Haras La Quebrada, sired by perennial Argentinian leading sire Southern Halo out of the winning mare Teocrática. He was the last of four foals produced by the cross. None of the other full siblings had a race career of note. 1960 Cork City Council Election
The 1960 Cork City Council election took place on 29 June as part of that year's local election to elect all 21 seats on Cork City Council. This was the last time the entire county borough of Cork formed a single electoral area. The election was conducted by means of the single transferable vote. There were 72 candidates. The count began on 30 June and concluded in the early hours of 3 July after 63 counts. Electoral law empowered the Minister for Local Government to split county boroughs into multiple borough electoral areas only if the council requested, which Cork City Council had not done. The Electoral Act 1963 allowed the minister to act unilaterally. After the 1965 boundary extension, the borough was divided into 6 borough electoral districts. The Electors' Action Movement
The Electors' Action Movement (TEAM) was a centrist political party from 1968 to the mid-1980s at the municipal level in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It fielded candidates for the office of mayor as well as for positions on the City Council, School Board, and Park Board. It was most successful in the 1970s when it held the majority of council seats from 1972 to 1976. Retrospective accounts of TEAM have painted it as distinctly shifting civic governance in Vancouver when it gained power.
