The Subs
The Subs is a Belgian electro band founded by Jeroen ‘Papillon’ De Pessemier and Wiebe ‘Tonic’ Loccufier. Originally from Ghent. Ancienne Belgique ( French for "Old Belgium") is a concert hall for contemporary music in Brussels, Belgium. Located in the historic heart of Brussels, it is one of the leading concert venues in Belgium, hosting a wide variety of international and local acts. The venue The venue consists of three concert halls: the "Main Hall", the "ABBox", and the "ABClub". The Main Hall is, logically, the Ancienne Belgique's main hall, and has a capacity of 2,000 people. It is said to be one of the best concert halls in Belgium, with perfect acoustics. The Dutch Single Top 100 or Single Top 100 is a Dutch chart, based on official physical single sales, legal downloads and since July 2013 streaming and composed by Dutch Charts. Ultratop 50
Ultratop is an organization which generates and publishes the official record charts in Belgium. Ultratop is a non-profit organization, created on the initiative of the Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA), the Belgian member organization of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. Two parallel sets of charts are concurrently produced and published, one on behalf of Belgium's mainly Dutch-speaking Flanders region, and the other catering to the nation's mainly French-speaking region of Wallonia. Ultratop charts The music charts produced by Ultratop organization are separated along regional-language boundaries, an unusual division that is justified by the cultural differences in Belgium. Oscar & The Wolf
Oscar and the Wolf is the moniker for Belgian solo artist Max Colombie. Life and career Oscar and the Wolf first gained international attention with the single "Orange Sky" in 2013, which got them support slots for the likes of Lou Reed, but gained critical acclaim and success with debut album ''Entity'', released in April 2014. This album departed from the sound of Colombie's indie folk EPs and ventured into a new electronic sound. Lady Linn
Lady Linn (born 27 april 1981, in Sint-Amandsberg) is the artist name of the Belgian singer Lien De Greef. She does live performances with her group ''Lady Linn And Her Magnificent Seven''. The band brings a mix of jazz, pop and soul. Biography De Greef grew up in the East-Flemish town of Serskamp, a part of the community Wichelen and now lives in Ghent, where she also teaches at the Music Academy and the Institute for Music and Dance (MUDA). She studied jazz and light music at the Conservatory of Ghent. I Love Techno
I Love Techno is an international techno music event that takes place in Montpellier, France. National and international DJs perform every year at this event. Associated with the event is a set of music prizes known as the Elektropedia Awards, which are given for excellence in various categories related to techno and the broader electronic dance music genre. History From 1995-2014 the festival was based in Ghent, Belgium. The first edition of this event took place in 1995 at Vooruit and attracted 700 people. Tomorrowland is a Belgian electronic dance music festival held in Boom, Flanders, since 2005. History 2005 The first edition of the festival took place on 15 August 2005. Dour Festival is an annual music festival in the municipality of Dour, Belgium. Since its creation in 1988, the festival has grown to an attendance of about 225,000 in 2015 (over 5 days). The first year, only five bands were programmed (including Bernard Lavilliers). The festival format now consists of 5 days, 9 stages and more than 280 bands and DJs. The festival's acts come from a wide range of genres, such as: electro, rock, drum and bass, pop, R&B, reggae, house, punk, hardcore, metal, hip-hop, indie, techno, and more. Pukkelpop is an annual music festival that takes place near the city of Hasselt, Belgium, in mid- to late August.
