The Shebang
''The Shebang'' was a radio show broadcast weekday mornings from 6 am to 9 am AEST in Sydney, Australia, on Triple M. It was hosted by Marty Sheargold, Fifi Box and Paul Murray with Anthony Maroon as the show anchor. The producer, Anna, was often chastised for her many mistakes. The show mainly worked around observational humour, derived from various media sources. Formerly Triple M's main syndicated drive-time show, Austereo announced on 14 December 2006 that ''The Shebang'' would move to the breakfast shift for Triple M Sydney in 2007. ''The Shebang'' commenced the breakfast shift in Sydney on 29 January 2007. On 6 August 2008, Triple M announced that ''The Shebang'' would not be continuing in 2009 as host Fifi Box was leaving the station to appear on the Seven Network's ''Sunrise'' program, while Marty Sheargold said he would not continue at Triple M once the show finished. Marty Sheargold
Martin Donald Sheargold (born 19 June 1971) is an Australian stand-up comedian and radio broadcaster. Sheargold was part of Nova FM's national drive show '' Kate, Tim & Marty'' with Kate Ritchie and Tim Blackwell until 11 September 2020. He is currently the host of the '' Marty Sheargold Show'' on Triple M Melbourne. Early life Sheargold went to school at Daramalan College in Canberra. Career Sheargold's first job in radio was replacing Greg Fleet on a breakfast radio show in Adelaide. He appeared as a guest comedian on the RMITV show ''Under Melbourne Tonight'' on 2 November 1995. Triple M Brisbane
4MMM (identified on air and in print as Triple M) is a commercial FM rock radio station in Brisbane, Australia. It broadcasts on the Triple M network on 104.5 MHz frequency. Station history 4MMM started on the FM band at 104.1 MHz on August 22nd, 1980. Brisbane businessman Leo Williams (rugby union) was the driving force behind the venture while the station manager then was Rob McKay, who left the station soon after allowing program manager Ted Seymour to take the reins. Their first format was contemporary rock. It was rebranded as FM104 in December 1982 with the new slogan "Rock in Stereo", and focused on the typical Queensland lifestyle of beaches and barbecues. Their playlists now included AC/DC, The Angels, Van Halen, ZZ Top and the Talking Heads as well as supporting Australian pub rock bands such as INXS, Hunters & Collectors and the Choirboys. Peter Rowsthorn (born 9 February 1963) is an Australian stand-up comedian, actor, writer, MC and host. Richard Kemble Marsland (5 September 1976 – 6 December 2008) was an Australian comedy writer, actor, comedian and radio personality. Career Radio Marsland started his radio career in Adelaide on the SAFM breakfast show with Greg Fleet, Marty Sheargold and James Brayshaw. Stephen Curry (comedian)
Stephen Curry (born 26 May 1976) is an Australian comedian and actor who has appeared in many television drama and comedy series, and feature films. Early life Curry was born in Melbourne in 1976. Tony Martin (comedian)
Anthony Francis Martin (born 10 June 1964) is a New Zealand comedian, writer and actor, who has had a successful TV, radio, stand-up and film career in Australia. Career 1980s A former stand-up comedian and commercial voice-over-man, Tony Martin moved to Brisbane, Australia, from New Zealand when he was 21 to work as a radio copywriter. Having worked in radio and amateur theatre back in NZ, Martin approached the ABCTV's ''The D-Generation'' in 1986 to work as a writer only to be told that filming on the first series had been completed. Mark Beretta (born 16 June 1966) is an Australian journalist, best known as a sports reporter on Seven Network program ''Sunrise''. In July 2008, Beretta began presenting ''Seven Early News'' sport alongside Natalie Barr at 5.30 am, which leads into ''Sunrise'', where he is still the sports presenter.
