Sentry (Kree)
Sentry is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in July 1967. It is one of series of giant humanoid robots called Kree Sentries built by the Kree. The Sentry has also appeared in animated adaptations. Publication history The Kree Sentries first appeared in ''Fantastic Four'' #64 (July 1967) and were created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Fictional character biography Sentry-459 The Sentries' main purpose is to stand guard over military outposts and depots throughout the Kree Empire. Sentry Foods
Sentry Foods is a grocery store chain with a total of 11 stores, all in Wisconsin. Sentry Foods stores got their start in the Milwaukee area in the 1960s, being operated and supplied by the Godfrey family. In the mid-1980s, Fleming Companies, Inc., at the time a major wholesaler, bought the majority of the stores and took over supplying them. Being predominantly a wholesaler, Fleming was never a major force in the retail market, and as a result of missteps and poor financial choices, Fleming went bankrupt in 2000 and was forced to sell off the stores. Each store is now independently owned and operated. The Secure Electronic Network for Travelers Rapid Inspection (SENTRI) provides expedited U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) processing, at the U.S.-Mexico border, of pre-approved travelers considered low-risk. Voluntarily applicants must undergo a thorough background check against criminal, customs, immigration, law enforcement, and terrorist databases; a 10-fingerprint law enforcement check; and a personal interview with a CBP Officer. The total enrollment fee is $122.50, and SENTRI status is valid for 5 years. Once the applicant is approved, they are issued a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) card identifying their status in the CBP database when arriving at U.S. land and sea ports of entry (POE). Nissan Sentra
The Nissan Sentra is a series of automobiles manufactured by the Japanese automaker Nissan since 1982. Since 1999, the Sentra has been categorized as a compact car, while previously it occupied the subcompact class. Until 2006, Sentra was a rebadged export version of the Japanese Nissan Sunny, but since the 2013 model year, Sentra is a rebadged export version of the Sylphy. Sentry Siren, formerly known as Sterling Siren, is a civil defense siren brand. History Sentry Siren was founded as the Interstate Machine Products Company of Rochester, New York in the very early 20th century. The company would later rename itself to the Sterling Siren and Fire Alarm Company in 1925. The company began producing sirens in 1902, producing small scale vehicular sirens, before beginning large scale siren production with the Model M series of sirens beginning in 1912, designed by Merton C. Armstrong. The Model M was used in fire warning, air-raid warning, and disaster warning and ended production in the 1980s to make way for a new line of sirens.
