The Secret Of Moonacre
''The Secret of Moonacre'' is a 2008 fantasy film loosely based on the 1946 novel '' The Little White Horse'' by Elizabeth Goudge. The film was directed by Gábor Csupó and starred Dakota Blue Richards in the leading role and with Ioan Gruffudd, Tim Curry, Natascha McElhone and Juliet Stevenson in supporting roles. The film premiered at the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival and was released in the United Kingdom on 6 February 2009 by Warner Bros. Pictures. Plot Maria Merryweather inherits a book after her father's death: ''The Ancient Chronicles of Moonacre Valley''. She reads of the first Moon Princess receiving magical pearls from the moon. Gábor Csupó
Gábor Csupó ( , ; born September 29, 1952) is a Hungarian-American animator, writer, director, producer and graphic designer. He is co-founder of the animation studio Klasky Csupo, which has produced shows like ''Rugrats'', ''Duckman'', '' Stressed Eric'', and ''Aaahh!!! Real Monsters''. Early life Csupó was born in Budapest, Hungary, in 1952. Career After four years at the Pannónia Filmstúdió animation studios, Csupó emigrated to the West in 1975. While working in Sweden he met Arlene Klasky, an American-born animator. The two subsequently started their own company, Klasky Csupo, which produced many popular animated television shows. Dobogókő
Dobogókő is a popular tourist area near Pilisszentkereszt in Hungary, and the site of the highest point in the Visegrád Hills at 699 meters. 133 people live here. Csesznek Castle
The Castle of Csesznek lies in the Bakony between Győr and Zirc in the village of Csesznek. The castle was constructed after the Mongol invasion of Europe around 1263 in a period where many castles were built. The first castle was built by Jakab Cseszneky of the Bána clan.
