Emil Hossu
Emil Hossu (; 24 November 1941 – 25 January 2012) was a Romanian actor. Hossu was born into a Greek-Catholic family in Ocna Sibiului, Sibiu County. He was a well-known actor of stage and screen in the 1980s and 1990s, having performed in over 50 movies and stage productions. At the time of his death, on 25 January 2012, he was performing at the Nottara Theatre in Bucharest alongside his wife, the actress Catrinel Dumitrescu. Hossu died of a cardiac arrest, just as he was about to go on stage in a play called ''The Anniversary''. He is interred at Bellu Cemetery in Bucharest. Temistocle Popa
Themistocles Popa (; 27 June 1921 – 26 November 2013) was a Romanian composer, musician, and film actor. Life Temistocle Popa studied flute, harp, and saxophone at the National University of Music Bucharest. He then worked with musicians such as and Ion Dacian, and was close friends with the popular Romanian singer Maria Tănase. Beginning in the early 1960s, he wrote music for many Romanian films. He was married to actress Cornelia Teodosiu, and resided with her in Bucharest. After the Romanian Revolution of 1989 Popa lost almost his entire fortune due to nationalization of assets. In 2004 he received the Romanian National Order Legal Service, attaining the rank of Knight. Popa died in 2013 and was buried at Ghencea Military Cemetery in Bucharest. Cristian Tudor Popescu (; often referred to as CTP; born October 1, 1956) is a Romanian journalist, essayist, engineer, short-story writer and political commentator. Author of science fiction stories during his youth, he also hosted talk shows for various television stations, and had contributions as a literary critic and translator. Popescu was the editor-in-chief of '' Adevărul'', and, in 2005, he founded the newspaper ''Gândul'' in association with Mircea Dinescu. He was also the president of the Romanian Press Club until November 2006, when he resigned his office over an issue regarding the representation of journalists in the Club. Dem Rădulescu (; 21 September 1931 – 17 September 2000) was a Romanian theatre, film and television actor, and academic. He was also a professor at the Caragiale National University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest. Personal life Rădulescu was born in Râmnicu Vâlcea in a family of merchants. After graduating from the Nicolae Bălcescu High School (now known as Alexandru Lahovari National College) in Râmnicu Vâlcea, he had to make a choice between a career as a professional sportsman (boxing) and acting. He was even awarded a golden star at an amateur boxing championship. In 1956, he won first prize for interpreting "Steaguri pe turnuri" (he played the bandit Rijikov) at a contest dedicated to young actors. Gheorghe Dinică (; 1 January 1934 – 10 November 2009) was a Romanian actor. Career Dinică showed an early interest in acting, being part of different amateur theater troupes since he was 17. In 1957, he entered The National Institute of Theatre and Cinematography Art in Bucharest. He graduated in 1961, already drawing public attention with the role of Inspector Goole in the graduation play ''An Inspector Calls''. Sebastian Papaiani (; 25 August 1936 – 27 September 2016) was a Romanian film and television actor. He was born in PiteÈ™ti; his father was of Greek origin. He graduated from the Theatrical Arts and Cinematography Institute in 1960, debuting in the Geo Saizescu comedy ''Un surâs în plină vară'' (1963). He has a star on the Walk of Fame Bucharest.
