The Sacados is an Argentine musical group, active since the 1990s and consisting of Darío Moscatelli (born January 27, 1966) and Cynthia Nilson. History The Sacados was born as a project in Buenos Aires at the beginning of 1990. In those days the house sound, with its clearly danceable rhythm, swept the rankings of Europe and the United States, and was undoubtedly the main course of the clubs of Buenos Aires. The irresistible rhythm of their songs, added to a strong visual impact, supported by the costumes and choreography, gave the group its characteristic stamp. Hip house, also known as rap house or house rap, is a musical genre that mixes elements of house music and hip hop, that originated in both London, United Kingdom and Chicago, United States in the mid to late 1980s. Cynthia Sara Nilson (born August 22, 1970), also known as Cynthia Nilson, is an Argentine pop singer and songwriter. Career She began singing professionally with her father Carlos Nilson in several songs for Argentine television shows like ''Ritmo de la Noche'' starring Marcelo Tinelli, '' Jugate Conmigo'' and ''Verano del '98'' with Cris Morena. In the 1990s, she began performing with her own rock bands until 1995 the Argentinian pop group the Sacados hired Nilson to sing and play keyboards during their Colombian tour with Shakira and since then has been the Sacados' vocalist till present. She also sang the lead song of ''Verano del '98'', a hit song from a famous television series. Technotronic was a Belgian electronic music project formed in 1987 by Jo Bogaert, who originally gained popularity in Europe as a solo artist with various new beat projects, including Acts of Madmen and Nux Nemo. Together with rapper Manuela Kamosi, he produced the single " Pump Up the Jam", which was originally an instrumental released under the name The Pro 24s. Based on Farley Jackmaster Funk's "The Acid Life", this instrumental initially included vocal samples from Eddie Murphy's "Delirious" live set from 1983 and was months later replaced by newer music, along with lyrics from Kamosi (Ya Kid K) prior to the song's international release in September 1989.
