The Rolling Stones Australian Tour 1973 was a concert tour of countries bordering the Pacific Ocean in January and February 1973 by The Rolling Stones. The tour is sometimes called The Rolling Stones Pacific Tour 1973 and Winter Tour 1973, but concert posters and tickets of the shows (including the New Zealand show) state The Rolling Stones Australian Tour 1973. History The tour was not associated with any album's release, but effectively was an extension of the Stones' infamous 1972 American S.T.P. Tour. The original intent was to play Australia and New Zealand, which had not seen the Stones since February and March 1966, as well as Japan, which had never seen the Stones at all. Ian McCausland
Ian McCausland (31 March 1944 – 9 August 2022) was an Australian artist best known for his music posters. Career Ian McCausland began his visual arts career in 1968 after winning a competition in Go-Set, an Australian music magazine. After Go-Set closed in 1974, Philip Frazer took several of their creative team to a new political publication called '' The Digger'', including McCausland as Art Director. Following the closure of ''The Digger'', McCausland worked for Planet, a weekly music newspaper which was started by Michael Gudinski and Ray Evans. The newspaper ran for two years until 1972, but its founders formed Mushroom Records and McCausland joined them as the label's Art Director and designed their logo. ZZ Top
ZZ Top is an American rock band formed in 1969 in Houston, Texas. For 51 years, they comprised vocalist-guitarist Billy Gibbons, drummer Frank Beard and vocalist-bassist Dusty Hill, until Hill's death in 2021. ZZ Top developed a signature sound based on Gibbons' blues guitar style and Hill and Beard's rhythm section. The Neal S. Blaisdell Center is a community center near downtown Honolulu, Hawaii. The complex has a multi-purpose arena, concert hall, exhibition hall, galleria, meeting rooms, Waikiki Shell and others.
