''The Rest Is History'' is the second studio album by British pop duo Same Difference. The album was released on 7 February 2011. The first single from the album, "Shine On Forever (Photo Frame)", was released in August 2010, hitting the top ten in the UK Dance Chart, and peaking at #100 on the UK Singles Chart. In January 2011, an album megamix was released to fans who signed up to Same Difference's mailing list. It was also uploaded to YouTube and has been featured on Heatworld, Popjustice & Scandipop, picking up favourable reactions from those who have heard it. Critical reception Music critics such as Popjustice and Heatworld who heard the album and tracks from it, have given the album favourable reviews. Jin Au-Yeung (; born June 4, 1982), known professionally as MC Jin, is an American rapper, songwriter, actor and comedian of Chinese descent. Jin is notable for being the first Asian American solo rapper to be signed to a major record label in the United States. Early life Jin Au-Yeung was born on June 4, 1982 in Miami, Florida to Hong Kong immigrants of Hakka descent. He was raised in the general Miami area, where his parents owned a Chinese restaurant and Jin attended John F. Kennedy Middle School in North Miami Beach. Alcazar is a Swedish nu-disco group. Alcazar is one of Sweden's most successful music groups both nationally and internationally with a string of hits since their debut single in 1999. Worldwide, Alcazar sold over 12 million records between 2001 and 2004. Same Difference were an English bubblegum pop duo from Portsmouth, England, made up of siblings Sean Smith and Sarah Smith. They came to prominence in 2007 when they finished third in the fourth series of the ITV talent show, ''The X Factor''. Their music was targeted mostly at children who are 13 and under.
