The Other Side (Godsmack EP)
''The Other Side'' is an Acoustic music, acoustic extended play, EP by American Rock music, rock band Godsmack, released on March 16, 2004. It includes several previously released songs re-recorded as acoustic versions, as well as three new acoustic tracks. One new song, "Touché (song), Touché", featured Godsmack's first guitarist, Lee Richards, as well as John Kosco, who were at that time in the now defunct band Dropbox (band), Dropbox. The other two new acoustic tracks are "Running Blind (song), Running Blind" and "Voices" which are old songs that vocalist Sully Erna wrote but never recorded. The song "Asleep" is actually an acoustic, shorter and calmer version of "Awake (Godsmack song), Awake" from the band's second album, ''Awake (Godsmack album), Awake''. Godsmack
Godsmack is an American rock band from Lawrence, Massachusetts, formed in 1995. The band is composed of lead singer and rhythm guitarist Sully Erna, bassist Robbie Merrill, lead guitarist Tony Rombola and drummer Shannon Larkin. Since its formation, Godsmack has released seven studio albums, one EP ('' The Other Side''), four DVDs, one compilation album ('' Good Times, Bad Times... Ten Years of Godsmack''), and one live album (''Live & Inspired''). The band has released three consecutive number-one albums ('' Faceless'', '' IV'' and '' The Oracle'') on the ''Billboard'' 200.
