Steve Clemente
Steve Clemente (born Esteban Clemento Morro November 22, 1885 – May 7, 1950) was a Mexican-American actor known for his many villainous roles. He began acting in his teens, signing up for his first movie, ''The Secret Man'', in 1917. His later roles were usually bit parts. In 1922, he came to Hollywood to put on a knife demonstration for a disbelieving director. He was trusted to throw knives in movies that had to land an inch or two away from a celebrity. He always got right on target, and developed a good reputation for stunts. He was a known scene stealer and was famous for his villainous snarl. He later appeared in such movies as ''The Most Dangerous Game'' (1932), playing Tartar, the second henchman of Count Zarrof and played the Witch King in ''King Kong'' (1933) and its sequel ''Son of Kong'' (1933). John Elliott (actor)
John Hugh Elliott (July 5, 1876 – December 12, 1956) was an American actor who appeared on Broadway and in over 300 films during his career. He worked sporadically during the silent film era, but with the advent of sound his career took off, where he worked constantly for 25 years, finding a particular niche in "B" westerns. His versatility allowed him to play both "good guys" and "bad guys" with equal aplomb, working right up until his death in 1956. Early life Elliott was born on July 1876 in Keosauqua, Iowa to Sarah E. Norris and Jehue S. Elliott. He was the third of four children, and the only boy; his two older sisters were named Elizabeth and Fanny, with his younger sister named Nina. In February 1897, when Elliott was 20, his mother, his sister Fanny came down with typhoid fever. Elliott would be the only one of the three to survive. Willis Kent
Willis Kent (June 8, 1878, Michigan – March 11, 1966, Los Angeles, California) was an independent American film producer, active from 1928 to 1958 under at least three different corporate names. Willis Kent Productions was active during the 1930s. Its films, about 40 in all, consisted mostly of low-budget B-westerns, many of which starred short-lived cowboy star and former football player Lafayette "Reb" Russell, along with a few melodramatic police and mystery films. During the 30s, and well into the 1940s, Kent also produced several cheap, sensationalist exploitation features under the banner of Real Life Dramas. That company's first release, '' The Pace That Kills'' (1928), was about innocent young teens being lured into the netherworld of cocaine addiction. Kent remade it, using the same title and same director, adapted with sound, in 1935.
