Dariush Mehrjui
Dariush Mehrju'i ( fa, داریوش مهرجویی , born 8 December 1939, also spelled as ''Mehrjui'', ''Mehrjoui'', Mehrjooi, and ''Mehrjuyi'') is an Iranian film director, screenwriter, producer, editor and a member of the Iranian Academy of the Arts. Mehrjui was a founding member of the Iranian New Wave movement of the early 1970s. His second film, ''Gaav'', is considered to be the first film of this movement, which also included Masoud Kimiai and Nasser Taqvai. Most of his films are inspired by literature and adapted from Iranian and foreign novels and plays. Career Early life and education Dariush Mehrjui was born to a middle-class family in Tehran. Naser Cheshmazar (31 December 1950 – 4 May 2018) was an Iranian musician and composer. He was an acknowledged master in classical music, musical theater, blues, folk music, jazz, and popular music. Mahmoud Kalari
Mahmoud Kalari (Persian: محمود کلاری; born in Tehran), is an Iranian cinematographer, screenwriter, film director and photographer, who has worked with number of renowned Iranian directors such as Abbas Kiarostami, Jafar Panahi, Asghar Farhadi and Mohsen Makhmalbaf. After completing photography courses in the United States, he held his first photo exhibition titled "Visit with People Around Us" at Tehran University in 1976. few years later he became employed by Paris-based Sigma Photo News Agency and worked for them for four years. In 1980 he was ranked one of the '15 Best Photographers of the Year' by Time Magazine, and his photos could be seen in French, German, and American magazines. Khosro Shakibai
Khosrow Shakibai ( fa, خسرو شکیبایی; March 27, 1944 – July 18, 2008) was an Iranian actor. He has received various accolades, including three Crystal Simorgh, a Hafez Award, two Iran Cinema Celebration Awards and an Iran's Film Critics and Writers Association Award. Career He ranks amongst the most accomplished actors of his generation. Khosrow Shakibai was born to Colonel Ahmad Shakibāi and Ms Farideh Khātami.
