The Master (2005 Film)
''The Master'' ( pl, Mistrz) is a 2005 Polish magical-realist film directed by Piotr Trzaskalski and starring Konstantin Lavronenko, Jacek Braciak, Monika Buchowiec and Teresa Branna. It tells the tale of an alcoholic Russian circus performer and Afghan war veteran who is fired from a circus for releasing all the animals in a small Polish town. Piotr Trzaskalski
Piotr Trzaskalski (; born February 5, 1964, in Łódź, Poland) is a Polish film director and screenwriter. Biography A graduate of the National Film School in Łódź. He is probably best known for his film '' Edi'' (2002), which won several awards at the Berlin International Film Festival (2003) in Berlin, Germany, and also won the special Audience Award at the 2003 Polish Film Awards from the Polish Academy. In 2004, he became a member of the European Film Academy. Accordions (from 19th-century German ''Akkordeon'', from ''Akkord''—"musical chord, concord of sounds") are a family of box-shaped musical instruments of the bellows-driven free-reed aerophone type (producing sound as air flows past a reed in a frame), colloquially referred to as a squeezebox.
