Richard Beach
Sir Richard Beach (died 1692) was an English officer in the Royal Navy. Career Richard Beach was captain of the Royalist ''St. Michael'' in 1651. By 1654 he commanded a squadron of three frigates sailing out of Brest, and bent on his capture were the Parliamentary admirals Robert Blake and William Penn. Beach's ship, the '' Royal James'', was finally taken in March 1654, off the Isles of Sicily, by the '' Constant Warwick'' under Captain Potter. Beach was brought back to Plymouth, but was freed in an exchange of prisoners on 29 April, and went back to his old practice of privateering until the Restoration in 1660. Beach was made captain of the ''Crown'' about 1661. Kay Hughes (born Catherine Mary Hughes; January 16, 1914 – April 4, 1998) was an American actress in the 1930s and 1940s who appeared mainly in Western films and serials. Biography Hughes was born in Los Angeles, California. When she was a year old, her family moved back to her father's native Ohio to be closer to his mother; after she died, they moved back to California when Kay was nine years old. George Irving (American Actor)
George Henry Irving (October 5, 1874 – September 11, 1961) was an American film actor and director. Career Irving started his career as a theatre actor, notably as leading man to Maude Adams. He came to Hollywood in 1914 and acted in over 250 films from 1914 until 1948. Irving was initially an actor-director and directed about 35 silent films, which are mostly forgotten today. He switched exclusively to acting in the mid-1920s and became a character actor until the later 1940s. Irving usually played reputable and stern persons of authority in supporting roles. He is perhaps best known for his roles as Robert Wentworth in ''Coquette'' (1929), and as the lawyer Alexander Peabody in ''Bringing Up Baby'' (1938). Franklin Pangborn (January 23, 1889 – July 20, 1958) was an American comedic character actor famous for playing small but memorable roles with comic flair.
