Lovebird
Lovebird is the common name for the genus ''Agapornis'', a small group of parrots in the Old World parrot family Psittaculidae. Of the nine species in the genus, all are native to the African continent, with the grey-headed lovebird being native to the African island of Madagascar. Social and affectionate, the name comes from the parrots' strong, monogamous pair bonding and the long periods which paired birds spend sitting together. Lovebirds live in small flocks and eat fruit, vegetables, grasses, and seeds. Black-winged lovebirds also eat insects and figs, and black-collared lovebirds have a special dietary requirement for native figs, making them difficult to keep in captivity. Some species are kept as pets, and several coloured mutations have been selectively bred in aviculture. The average lifespan is 20 to 30 years. Kohmi Hirose
is a Japanese pop singer and songwriter. Since the release of her million-selling single "Romance no Kamisama" in 1993, Hirose has recorded music for winter-sporting goods company Alpen's advertising campaigns. This has prompted the Japanese public to bestow upon her the nickname of . Biography After returning from America, her first album "Bingo!" was released in July 1992, but the first big hit for her was her third single, released in December 1993, "Romance no Kamisama", which sold 1.75 million copies. ''Audit in Progress'' is the third studio album by the San Diego, California, rock band Hot Snakes, released in 2004 by Swami Records. It was recorded in a similar manner to the band's previous two albums, with guitarist John Reis taking time off from his main band Rocket From the Crypt. The Dodgy Album
''The Dodgy Album'' is the debut album by the British indie group Dodgy. ''Water Under the Bridge'', the first single released from this album, saw the beginning of "the way of dodgy", a step-by-step enlightened 'dodgy' philosophy that would appear on the record sleeves for each of their future recordings. The artwork also included their 'mdv' logo. The single was released in early 1993, and the video for the song featured the band in Amsterdam. The second single was ''Lovebirds'', a song that had won them an award on Gary Crowley's GLR show during the band's youth. Included on the single was the acoustic live favourite ''Big Brown Moon''. Continuing their new shiny artwork on singles, Dodgy released ''I Need Another'', the cover of which depicted the band as garden gnomes and included a campfire version of ''Never Again'', complete with the sound of crackling logs. ''Steel Pier'' is a musical written by the songwriting team of Kander and Ebb from the original book by David Thompson. Productions Directed by Scott Ellis with choreography by Susan Stroman, the musical opened on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on April 24, 1997, and closed on June 28, 1997, running for 76 performances (and 33 previews).
