The Kents (band)
The Kents are a Canadian rock band formed in 2011 in Lindsay, Ontario. The band's current lineup consists of Warren Frank (vocals), Luke Shauf (bass), Freddy Kwon (guitar), and Tanner Paré (drums). They have released three EPs: 2014's ''Locals,'' 2016's ''Waking,'' and 2017's ''Within Waves''. The band describe their sound as "indie pop in the vein of... Foster The People, Young the Giant and The Arkells." They have toured with and opened for other Canadian acts such as The Sheepdogs and The Strumbellas and have been featured on curated playlists on Spotify and Apple Music. The City of Kawartha Lakes (2021 population 79,247) is a unitary municipality in Central Ontario, Canada. It is a municipality legally structured as a single-tier city; however, Kawartha Lakes is the size of a typical Ontario county and is mostly rural. Peterborough Musicfest
The Peterborough Summer Festival of Lights, later renamed Peterborough Musicfest, is a non-profit, charitable organization in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, which hosts a series of free outdoor concerts. In 2015, Peterborough Musicfest was recognized as a Top 100 Festival and Event in Ontario. The concerts are held at Del Crary Park, located in the downtown on George Street, adjacent to Little Lake. History Founded in 1986 by Fred Anderson, these concerts were followed by a choreographed illuminated boat show and a fireworks display. Beginning in 2005, the festival chose to forgo the aging boat show in favour of hiring more well-known performers and improving the fireworks display. Bob FM
BOB FM is the on-air brand of a number of FM radio stations in the United States and formerly in Canada. The BOB FM format mostly concentrates on album rock, alternative rock and pop hits from the 1980s and 90s, especially those popular during the early days of MTV when music videos made up most of MTV's schedule. But BOB FM also features a smattering of oldies from the 1970s or earlier and classic hits from the 1990s or later.
