''The In-Laws'' (simplified Chinese: 麻婆斗妇) is a Singaporean Chinese drama which was telecasted on Singapore's free-to-air channel, MediaCorp Channel 8. It stars Louise Lee, Rui En, Pierre Png, Cynthia Koh, Darren Lim, Belinda Lee & Jin Yinji as the casts of the series. It made its debut on 12 April 2011 and has ended on 30 May 2011. This drama serial consists of 35 episodes, and was screened on every weekday night at 9:00 pm. This drama serial was repeated on every Monday to Wednesday at 3:30 pm. It stars the award-winning veteran Hong Kong actress Louise Lee who also acted in the locally produced ''Portrait of Home'' back in 2005. Sichuan

The Star Awards for Favourite Onscreen Couple (Drama) was an award presented annually at the Star Awards, a ceremony that was established in 1994. The category was introduced in 2011, at the 17th Star Awards ceremony; Christopher Lee and Jeanette Aw received the award for their roles in '' Breakout'' and it is given in honour of a pair of artistes–one actor and one actress (not necessary to be contracted under Mediacorp)–who portrayed a drama series couple that is deemed the most popular among the television audience. Terence Cao
Terence Cao Guohui (born 6 October 1967) is a Singaporean television actor. Biography Cao studied at Anglo-Chinese School for both his primary and secondary education. Cao used to be a flight attendant and joined Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (later MediaCorp) in 1989 after completing the 9th drama training course. Apart from acting in several Channel 8 television drama series, Cao has also performed the theme songs for some of the series he starred in and has also acted in some television films. Apple Hong (; born 31 October 1978) is a Malaysia-Born Singaporean actress and singer. She was a Mediacorp artiste from 1999 to 2011 but continues to film on TV and ad-hoc basis. Career Hong was first runner-up in the Malaysian edition of Star Search 1999 and moved to Singapore after being offered a contract by TCS (now MediaCorp). Cavin Soh (, born 17 November 1970) (苏智诚/苏志诚 Su Zhi Cheng previous name) is a Singaporean actor, host, watch dealer and singer. Career Soh used to be a lead singer in the band Dreamz FM (梦飞船) and a radio deejay on MediaCorp's Chinese language station Y.E.S. 93.3FM before switching to television and acting. In 2005, he won the Best Supporting Actor award for his portrayal of Zhou Daqiu, the antagonist, in ''Portrait of Home''. Mapo tofu () is a popular Chinese dish from Sichuan province. It consists of tofu set in a spicy sauce, typically a thin, oily, and bright red suspension, based on douban (fermented broad bean and chili paste), and douchi (fermented black beans), along with minced meat, traditionally beef. Variations exist with other ingredients such as water chestnuts, onions, other vegetables, or wood ear fungus.
