The Immortal Bachelor
''The Immortal Bachelor'' ( it, A mezzanotte va la ronda del piacere, also known as ''Midnight Pleasures'' and ''Midnight Lovers'') is a 1975 Italian film that stars Claudia Cardinale, Vittorio Gassman, Monica Vitti, and Giancarlo Giannini. Marcello Fondato (8 January 1924 – 13 November 2008) was an Italian screenwriter and film director. He wrote for 46 films between 1958 and 1986. He also directed ten films between 1968 and 1992. His 1970 film '' Ninì Tirabusciò: la donna che inventò la mossa'' was entered into the 21st Berlin International Film Festival. He was born in Rome, Italy and died in San Felice Circeo of a cerebral hemorrhage aged 84. Silvio Spaccesi (August 1, 1926 – June 2, 2015) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Biography Born in Macerata, Spaccesi studied in a Salesians of Don Bosco School, and made his official theatrical debut with the stage company held by Angelo Perugini. After moving to Rome, he formed at the Silvio d’Amico Academy of Dramatic Arts. He was best known for the musical comedy '' Forza venite gente'', in which he played the role of Pietro di Bernardone, Francis of Assisi's father. Renato Pozzetto (born 14 July 1940) is an Italian actor, director, comedian, and singer. Biography Pozzetto was born into a working-class family from Milan and grew up in the town of Gemonio (in the Province of Varese). After graduation, he made his debut as a comedian at the Derby Club in Milan. In 1964, he and his childhood friend Cochi Ponzoni formed the duo Cochi & Renato. They recorded several successful songs, often written in collaboration with Enzo Jannacci. These songs often had a satirical and/or nonsense take.
