The Idoru is a post-hardcore band from Budapest, Hungary. Newborn (band)
Newborn was a Hungarian hardcore punk band with progressive metal influences, formed in Budapest, Hungary. The band was active from 1998 to 2002. History Newborn was formed from Hungarian bands Other Side and Burning Inside. They were one of the most hardworking D.I.Y. bands from the Hungarian hardcore scene in Europe. Two band members simultaneously played in the band called Dawncore. The vocalist Zoltán Jakab worked as a concert organizer, to bring the most respected hardcore bands in Hungary, as he does currently. In Europe The German Scorched Earth Policy, in the US the CrimethInc. has released they last mini split album the ''Ready to Leave, Ready to Live'' contributing with the American band Catharsis from North Carolina, where four Newborn songs have taken place and Catharsis has had the song "Arsonist's Prayer". Blind Myself
Blind Myself is a Hungarian metalcore band formed in 1995. History The band was formed by Gabor Molnar and Istvan Torok with an original line up of: Istvan Torok (drums), Gabor Molnar (guitars), and Laszlo Sleisz (bass). In 1996, they recorded their first demo, called ''Blind Yourself'', and had their first nationwide tour. In 1997, they recorded their second demo, ''Horrified by the Sun'', and had their first Sziget Festival appearance on Banan (talent) Stage. In 1998, their first EP, called ''Horrified by the Sun'', was recorded and released by the band itself, distributed by Crossroads Records Hungary (Metal Hammer H 10/10) and their first video for ''Horrified by the Sun'' appeared on TV. That year they also toured in Hungary and performed at the Sziget Festival show. Hard-core Punk
Hardcore punk (also known as simply hardcore) is a punk rock music genre and subculture that originated in the late 1970s. It is generally faster, harder, and more aggressive than other forms of punk rock. Its roots can be traced to earlier punk scenes in San Francisco and Southern California which arose as a reaction against the still predominant hippie cultural climate of the time.
