The Humble Brothers
The Humble Brothers are an electronic music duo consisting of Canadian Ken "hiwatt" Marshall and Tanzanian-born Traz Damji. They gained fame with their involvement in Electronic Arts soundtracks, starting with 2002's Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2. Two big projects followed, ''SimCity 4'' and its expansion pack, ''Rush Hour'', then remixes of other artists' songs as their production skills were noticed by the mainstream music industry. Their notable remixes include Linkin Park's "One Step Closer" ( "1Stp Klosr") and Static-X/Mephisto Odyssey song "Crash" which was featured on the soundtrack of '' Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker''. The Humble Brothers have also remixed the Dry Cell song Body Crumbles. Hiwatt
Hiwatt is a British company that manufactures amplifiers for electric guitars and electric basses. Starting in the late 1960s, together with Marshall and Vox, Hiwatt contributed to the sonic image popularly termed "British sound". History Origins Hylight Electronics was the brainchild of British audio engineer David Reeves. He attended technical school in the late 1950s and did apprenticeships at Marconi Company and Mullard. While working his day job, young Reeves started working evenings in a small room over Plato Music on Crown Passage in Morden from 1964–1968. He fixed things at first, repairing hifi sets and televisions. It was during this time that he first conceived the idea to start his own company and invented the Hiwatt name. In 1963, a local band's amplifier blew up, Dave Reeves said "I could build a better one than that" so he did. ''Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2'' is a 2002 racing video game, the sixth installment in the ''Need for Speed'' series and the sequel to 1998's '' Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit''. It was developed by EA Black Box for the PlayStation 2, and by EA Seattle for GameCube, Xbox, and Microsoft Windows. It features cars from various high-performance and exotic car manufacturers. Players can compete in races using these cars, or opt to play as a police officer and pursue speeders.
