The Hookers
The Hookers are an American hardcore punk band based in Louisville, Kentucky. Originally formed in Lexington in 1994 as the Fayette County Hookers, the name was shortened before their first independent release ''Kiss My Fuckin Ass'' 7-inch EP in 1996. Their first full length album, ''Satan's Highway'', was released on Scooch Pooch records in 1998 and followed closely by the ''Listen Up, Baby!'' split LP with Electric Frankenstein in the same year. On various independent labels, The Hookers released two more full length albums: ''Black Visions of Crimson Wisdom'' in 1999 and ''Equinox Beyond Tomorrow Volume 1'' in 2001. The band recorded the ''Blood Over Germany'' live album in 2001 on Century Media Records. After 2001, The Hookers were considered to be inactive as their heretofore intensive touring and release schedule was curtailed. An outlaw motorcycle club is a motorcycle subculture generally centered on the use of Cruiser (motorcycle), cruiser motorcycles, particularly Harley-Davidsons and chopper (motorcycle), choppers, and a set of ideals that purport to celebrate freedom, nonconformity to mainstream culture, and loyalty to the biker group.
