''The Hanged Man'' is a 1964 American made-for-television crime drama film directed by Don Siegel, in which a gunman seeks to avenge the death of his friend, who he believes was murdered. ''Ride the Pink Horse'' is a 1946 novel by mystery writer Dorothy B. Hughes. Robert Montgomery directed and starred in a ''film noir'' of the same title in 1947. A & C Black is a British book publishing company, owned since 2002 by Bloomsbury Publishing. The company is noted for publishing '' Who's Who'' since 1849.
