The Great Seungri (tour)
The Great Seungri was a concert tour by South Korean singer Seungri. The tour began in Seoul, South Korea at the Jangchung Gymnasium on August 4, 2018, and concluded in Queenstown, Singapore at The Star Theater. Background and development In May 2018, YGEX announced that Seungri (V.I) will kick off his first tour in Japan with six shows in three cities, Chiba, Fukuoka and Osaka set to commence in August. In August, it was announced that tour sold 78,000 tickets in Japan from three cities. An additional shows were announced due to high demand, selling out entire 1st leg of Japan tour, including 30,000 ticket from Chiba and 16,000 from Fukuoka, total 98,000 people attend from 3 cities. In June, the dates for South Korea shows were announced, marking it as his first shows since debuting 12 years ago. Seungri
Lee Seung-hyun (; born December 12, 1990), better known by his stage names Seungri (Hangul: ) and V.I (when performing in Japan), is a former South Korean singer, songwriter, actor, businessman and sex offender convicted of facilitating prostitution, sexual bribery and embezzlement in the Burning Sun scandal. In the mid-2000s, Seungri rose to prominence as a member of the South Korean boy band Big Bang. With the release of the group's second studio album ''Remember'' (2008), which included a solo performance by Seungri, he began to adopt a more mature image as an artist. Seungri furthered this image with the release of his chart-topping EP, ''V.V.I.P'' (2011). It yielded two singles: "VVIP" and "What Can I Do". The AsiaWorld–Expo is one of the two major convention and exhibition facilities in Hong Kong along with Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. is a multi-purpose arena located in the Kyōbashi area of Osaka, Japan. The hall opened in 1983 and can seat up to 16,000 people.
