The Glee Project
''The Glee Project'' is an American reality television series from Oxygen. It served as an audition for the Fox musical comedy series ''Glee'', and the prize for the winner was a minimum seven-episode arc in the following season of the show. The show's first season premiered in the US on June 12, 2011, and concluded on August 21, 2011. In Canada, the series began airing on Slice on June 26, 2011, and in the UK, the series began airing on Sky 1 on July 14, 2011. A second season aired in the US from June 5 to August 14, 2012. In July 2013, it was announced that ''The Glee Project'' would not return for a third season. ''Glee'' executive producers Ryan Murphy and Dante Di Loreto executive produced for ''The Glee Project''. Ryan Murphy (writer)
Ryan Patrick Murphy (born November 9, 1965) is an American television writer, director, and producer. He has created and produced a number of television series including ''Nip/Tuck'' (2003–2010), ''Glee'' (2009–2015), ''American Horror Story'' (2011–present), ''American Crime Story'' (2016–present), ''Pose'' (2018–2021), ''9-1-1'' (2018–present), '' 9-1-1: Lone Star'' (2020–present), '' Ratched'' (2020–present), ''American Horror Stories'' (2021–present), and '' Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story'' (2022). Sky One
Sky One was a British pay television channel operated and owned by Sky Group (a division of Comcast). Originally launched on 26 April 1982 as Satellite Television, it was Europe's first satellite and non-terrestrial channel. From 31 July 1989, it became Sky One and broadcast exclusively in the United Kingdom and Ireland as British Sky Broadcasting's flagship channel, being the most watched television service in history. Joe Hart (Glee)
'' Glee'' is a musical comedy-drama television series that aired on Fox in the United States for six seasons from 2009 to 2015. It focuses on the high school glee club New Directions competing in the show choir competition circuit, while its members deal with relationships, sexuality and social issues. The initial main cast encompassed club director and Spanish (later History) teacher Will Schuester ( Matthew Morrison), cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch), guidance counselor Emma Pillsbury ( Jayma Mays), Will's wife Terri ( Jessalyn Gilsig), and eight club members played by Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Mark Salling and Jenna Ushkowitz. "Heart" (stylized as "♥" in Fox's video preview materials) is the thirteenth episode of the third season of the American musical television series ''Glee'', and the fifty-seventh overall. Written by Ali Adler and directed by co-creator Brad Falchuk, the episode aired on Fox in the United States on February 14, 2012, and features Valentine's Day love songs performed by the McKinley High glee club. It also features the debuts of special guest stars Jeff Goldblum and Brian Stokes Mitchell as Rachel's two fathers and ''The Glee Project'' winner Samuel Larsen as transfer student Joe Hart. Whitney Houston's version of Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You" is performed by Mercedes (Amber Riley) in the episode, and the completed episode had been delivered to the network and was scheduled to run in three days when Houston died unexpectedly on February 11, 2012; a dedication to her was added in the episode's end credits.
