The Fourth Kind
''The Fourth Kind'' is a 2009 science fiction psychological horror thriller film directed by Olatunde Osunsanmi and featuring a cast of Milla Jovovich, Elias Koteas, Corey Johnson, Will Patton, Charlotte Milchard, Mia Mckenna-Bruce, Yulian Vergov, and Osunsanmi. The title is derived from the expansion of J. Allen Hynek's classification of close encounters with aliens, in which the fourth kind denotes alien abductions. The film is a pseudodocumentary - purporting to be a dramatic re-enactment of true events that occurred in Nome, Alaska - in which a psychologist uses hypnosis to uncover memories of alien abduction from her patients, and finds evidence suggesting that she may have been abducted as well. Olatunde Osunsanmi
Olatunde Osunsanmi (born October 23, 1977) is an American film and television director and producer. He is known for his work on Universal's horror film ''The Fourth Kind'' and for the TNT dystopian drama ''Falling Skies'', as well as being director or producer on several episodes of '' Star Trek: Discovery''. Life and career Osunsanmi was born in the United States to parents who had immigrated from Nigeria. He graduated with a Masters of Fine Arts degree from Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. His first foray in the industry was with a short film he wrote and directed, entitled ''Etat''. The feature explored the 1970s political climate of his parents’ native Nigeria. Charlotte Milchard
Charlotte Milchard (born 13 December 1977) is a British actress. Early life Milchard was born in Barking, London but spent the early years of her childhood living in Asia when her father's work as a scientist led the family to travelling the majority of the world. She graduated from the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in 2000. Career Milchard has received critical acclaim for her stage performances. She has also appeared in several films, most notably ''The Fourth Kind''. Despite being poorly received by critics, the film was a moderate box office success, earning over US$47 million worldwide. Nome, Alaska
Nome (; ik, Sitŋasuaq, ) is a city in the Nome Census Area in the Unorganized Borough of Alaska, United States.
