The Forbidden (2018 Film)
''The Forbidden'' is a Ugandan drama film produced by Claire Nampala and directed by Kizito Samuel Saviour. It premiered at Bat Valley Theatre on 3 February 2018 and was immediately nominated for the Best Feature Film award at the Amakaula International Film Festival and later won the award, becoming the first Ugandan film to win the award since the launch of the awards. Luganda
The Ganda language or Luganda (, , ) is a Bantu language spoken in the African Great Lakes region. The Uganda Film Festival Awards also known as UFF Awards, are presented annually to recognize excellence in the film Industry in Uganda. The awards started in 2013 under a Uganda Communications Commission initiative to recognize and develop the Ugandan film industry.
