The First (album)
''The First'' is the first Japanese studio album by South Korean boy group Shinee. The album was scheduled for release on November 23, 2011, however it was delayed to December 7, 2011 in Japan under EMI Music Japan. The album features three previously released singles, "Replay (Shinee song), Replay", "Juliette (Shinee song), Juliette" and "Lucifer (Shinee song), Lucifer", all of which ranked within the top three on the Oricon charts. Release Three of the songs from the album have been released as A-side and B-side, A-side singles: "Replay (Shinee song), Replay", "Juliette (Shinee song), Juliette" and "Lucifer (Shinee song), Lucifer". On January 13, 2012, ''The First'' was certified Gold by RIAJ for selling over 100,000 copies. Shinee ( ; ko, 샤이니, Syaini; ja, シャイニー, Shainī; stylized as SHINee) is a South Korean boy band formed by SM Entertainment in 2008. The group's musical impact in their native country has earned them numerous accolades and the title "Princes of K-pop". The group currently is composed of four members: Onew, Key, Minho, and Taemin. Originally a five-piece group, vocalist Jonghyun died in December 2017. Shinee debuted in May 2008 with their first EP, '' Replay'', on SBS' '' Inkigayo'' with their single " Replay". ''The Shinee World'' (stylized as The SHINee WORLD) is the first studio album recorded by South Korean boy band Shinee. It was released on August 28, 2008, under SM Entertainment. The album includes the lead single "Love Like Oxygen", the promotional single "The Shinee World (Doo-Bop)", and debut song " Replay", previously released as the lead single from the EP of the same name. On October 29, 2008, the album was re-released under the title ''Amigo'' with three additional tracks. Concept and composition For their first studio album, Shinee showed a more mature and masculine image compared to their debut concept. While the group maintained their characteristic style of high-top sneakers and skinny jeans, they sported darker colors for the promotional cycle, unlike the colorful fashion worn at debut. Remee Sigvardt Jackman (né Mikkel Johan Imer Sigvardt; born Frederiksberg, 8 November 1974), better known as Remee, is a Danish producer, composer and songwriter. Career Remee has written more than 60 hits and has sold over 25 million records. He has co-written several songs with Thomas Troelsen.
