Executioner
An executioner, also known as a hangman or headsman, is an official who executes a sentence of capital punishment on a legally condemned person. Scope and job The executioner was usually presented with a warrant authorising or ordering him to ''execute'' the sentence. The warrant protects the executioner from the charge of murder. Common terms for executioners derived from forms of capital punishment—though they often also performed other physical punishments—include hangman (hanging) and headsman (beheading). In the military, the role of executioner was performed by a soldier, such as the ''provost''. A common stereotype of an executioner is a hooded medieval or absolutist executioner. Executioner was an American thrash metal band from Boston, Massachusetts, that was active from 1984 to 1990. History Executioner was formed in 1984. Their track "Victims of Evil" was issued on the compilation ''Speed Metal Hell'' in 1985. They were then signed to New Renaissance Records and recorded material throughout 1985, which was released as their debut album ''In the Name of Metal'' in 1986. After a show in San Antonio, Texas. Ari punched a van and broke his hand and eventually flew home while Seth (who was their roadie at the time) and the other members of the band drove home. Bernard Hopkins Jr. (born January 15, 1965) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1988 to 2016. He is one of the most successful boxers of the past three decades, having held multiple world championships in two weight classes, including the undisputed middleweight title from 2001 to 2005, and the lineal light heavyweight title from 2011 to 2012. Terry Ray Gordy Sr. (April 23, 1961 – July 16, 2001) was an American professional wrestler. The Executioners is the name of several tag teams and single masked wrestlers who wrestled in the BYWA, TWA, AWF and the World Wide Wrestling Federation.
