Executioner (band)
Executioner was an American thrash metal band from Boston, Massachusetts, that was active from 1984 to 1990. History Executioner was formed in 1984. Their track "Victims of Evil" was issued on the compilation ''Speed Metal Hell'' in 1985. They were then signed to New Renaissance Records and recorded material throughout 1985, which was released as their debut album ''In the Name of Metal'' in 1986. After a show in San Antonio, Texas. Ari punched a van and broke his hand and eventually flew home while Seth (who was their roadie at the time) and the other members of the band drove home. Ari ended up cutting his hair which lead to Marc kicking him out because he thought it would affect their image, he was replaced with a guy who swept floors at his uncle's hair salon, Seth ended up buying a white BC Rich Warlock bass and joined the band in Autumn 1986 after the hairdresser quit, and did some shows with them. New Renaissance Records
New Renaissance Records is an American record label founded in 1984 by Ann Boleyn, who also is the lead singer of the group Hellion and is credited with coining the term speed metal. History New Renaissance Records was created by Ann Boleyn after her band Hellion had a No. 6 record on the British Music Charts (as reported in ''Sounds'' and ''Kerrang!''), but was unable to find an American deal. Anal Cunt
Anal Cunt, also known as AxCx and A.C., was an American grindcore band that formed in Newton, Massachusetts, in 1988. From its inception, the band underwent a number of line-up changes and never had a bass player. The band, known for its flippant and noisy musical style as well as controversial lyrics, released eight full-length studio albums in addition to a number of compilations and extended plays. Anal Cunt disbanded in 2011 after the group's founder and frontman, Seth Putnam, died of a suspected heart attack. The band is often referred to by their initials A.C. (often written as AxCx) due to the offensive nature of their name and censorship limits on some radio and publications, and many of their album covers simply display the initials A.C. Seth Putnam
Seth Edward Putnam (May 15, 1968 – June 11, 2011) was an American musician who was the founder, vocalist and occasional guitarist of grindcore band Anal Cunt. He was known for his high-pitched screamed vocals and lyrics that either shock, offend, or invoke morbid humor. Throughout his career, Putnam was also involved in numerous side projects. Biography Early years Putnam was born on May 15, 1968, in Newton, Massachusetts, to Edward R. Putnam and Barbara Ann Donohue. He was of quarter English and quarter Irish descent. AC/DC (stylised as ACϟDC) are an Australian Rock music, rock band formed in Sydney in 1973 by Scottish-born brothers Malcolm Young, Malcolm and Angus Young.
