The Dalton Girls
''The Dalton Girls'' is a 1957 American Western film directed by Reginald Le Borg and starring Merry Anders, Lisa Davis, Penny Edwards, Sue George and John Russell. Plot Two men on horseback are fleeing a posse. Pistol shots are exchanged and the two men are killed. The scene shifts to town where the undertaker, Slidell, has posted a fee of twenty-five cents to view the remains of the Dalton brothers. A private agency detective, Parsh, approaches Slidell wanting to identify the bodies. Slidell insists on the fee. As Parsh views the bodies, Slidell taunts the detective that he had been unable to apprehend the Dalton brothers though pursuing them for years. Two young women arrive. Parsh greets them as Holly and Rose; he expresses his condolences, but he is rebuked by Holly. Holly pushes past both men to view the bodies and Parsh leaves. Reginald Le Borg
Reginald Le Borg (11 December 1902 – 25 March 1989) was an Austrian film director. He was born in Vienna, Austria with the surname Groebel and directed 68 films between 1936 and 1974. Le Borg made a series of low-budget horror films at Universal Studios in the 1940s. In 1944, he made his most expensive and also most successful film, '' San Diego, I Love You'', featuring Buster Keaton in a supporting role. A banker in Vienna, he came to the United States as a visitor in 1928, 1929 and 1930, according to New York steamship passenger manifests. He was recorded as Harry Reginald Groebel. He emigrated permanently in 1931. In his naturalization petition in 1937, he changed his name legally from Harry Groebel to Reginald Le Borg Le Borg died in Los Angeles, California from a heart attack. Douglas Henderson (actor)
Douglas Henderson (January 14, 1919, in Montclair, New Jersey – April 5, 1978 in Studio City, California) was an American film and television actor. Biography Henderson served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. After having been active in stock theater in the eastern United States, Henderson shifted to film in 1952, with his appearance in Stanley Kramer's '' Eight Iron Men''. Additional film appearances include the 1962 John Frankenheimer film '' The Manchurian Candidate'', in which he played Col. Milt, the direct supervisor of the Maj. Marco character (played by Frank Sinatra). He played Congressman Morrissey in the 1968 comedy ''Stay Away, Joe'' starring Elvis Presley. On television, Henderson made six guest appearances on ''Perry Mason'', including the role of title character and defendant Felix Heidemann in the 1960 episode, "The Case of the Clumsy Clown".
