The Contractor (2022 Film)
''The Contractor'' is a 2022 American action thriller film directed by Tarik Saleh in his English-language film debut. The film stars Chris Pine, Ben Foster, Gillian Jacobs, Eddie Marsan, J. D. Pardo, Florian Munteanu, and Kiefer Sutherland. Filming began in Europe including Fort Bragg in October 2019 and wrapped in the filming at the end of 2019. Tarik Saleh
Tarik Saleh ( ar, طارق صالح; born 28 January 1972) is a Swedish television producer, animator, publisher, journalist and film director. He was born in Högalids församling, Stockholm to a Swedish mother and an Egyptian father. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, he was one of Sweden's most prominent graffiti artists, including co-creating ''Fascinate''. He has also worked as a TV host for Sveriges Television and is one of the founders of production company Atmo. At the 53rd Guldbagge Awards, his film '' The Nile Hilton Incident'' won five awards, including Best Film. His film ''Boy from Heaven'' was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival. Fares Fares (; born 29 April 1973) is a Swedish-Lebanese actor of Assyrian descent. Early life Fares was born in Beirut, Lebanon. His younger brother is director Josef Fares, and he has four sisters. In 1987, when Fares was 14 years old, his family moved to Sweden, residing in Örebro. They moved to escape the Lebanese Civil War and chose Sweden because they had relatives who had already lived there. Fares says he learned Swedish within three months of living in Sweden.
