The Coming Out Show
''The Coming Out Show'' was a radio program about women's issues broadcast by Australian Broadcasting Corporation. The program was first broadcast on ABC Radio 2 (now Radio National) in 1975, the United Nations designated International Women's Year International Women's Year (IWY) was the name given to 1975 by the United Nations. Since that year March 8 has been celebrated as International Women's Day, and the United Nations Decade for Women, from 1976 to 1985, was also established. The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) is the national broadcaster of Australia. Radio National, known on-air as RN, is an Australia-wide public service broadcasting radio network run by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). From 1947 until 1985, the network was known as ABC Radio 2.
