''The Code'' is an American military drama television series created by Craig Sweeny and Craig Turk. The military legal drama was ordered to series on May 11, 2018, by CBS. The series premiered on April 9, 2019. On July 23, 2019, CBS canceled the series after one season. Premise ''The Code'' takes place as the "United States Military's brightest minds take on America's toughest challenges inside the courtroom and out, where each attorney is trained as a prosecutor, a defense lawyer, an investigator—and a United States Marine Corps, Marine." Officer Candidates School (United States Marine Corps)
The United States Marine Corps Officer Candidates School (OCS) is a training regiment designed to screen and evaluate potential Marine Corps Officers. Those who successfully complete the period of instruction are commissioned as Second Lieutenants in the United States Marines. Unlike the other United States military services, the majority of Marine Corps officers complete OCS to earn a commission; the exceptions are midshipmen from the United States Naval Academy, limited duty officers, and inter-service transfers. It is located at Marine Corps Base Quantico. A reassignment center (also known as a rubber room) is a type of holding facility administered by the New York City Department of Education for teachers accused of misconduct while awaiting resolution of their misconduct cases. , the city had thirteen reassignment centers. Military Accessions Vital to the National Interest (MAVNI) was a recruitment program by the United States Department of Defense, through which legal non-immigrants (not citizens or legal permanent residents of USA) with certain critical skills are recruited into the military services of US. Certain health care professionals and experts in certain languages relevant to the US military (e.g. Pashto and Farsi, due to the War in Afghanistan) meet eligibility requirements for recruitment through this program. In vitro fertilisation (IVF) is a process of fertilisation where an egg is combined with sperm in vitro ("in glass").
