The Campaign For Oxford
The Campaign for the University of Oxford, or simply Campaign for Oxford, is a fundraising appeal for the University of Oxford, started in 1988. It is the biggest fundraising campaign for Higher Education in Europe and one of the largest university fundraising campaigns in the world. Oxford University's campaigns are managed by Oxford University Development Office. This is a permanent office of the University, though the Campaign itself is temporary. Every few years a new campaign is announced and a new target set. Michael Moritz
Sir Michael Jonathan Moritz (born 12 September 1954) is a Welsh billionaire venture capitalist, philanthropist, author, and former journalist. Moritz works for Sequoia Capital, wrote the first history of Apple Inc., ''The Little Kingdom'', and authored ''Going for Broke: Lee Iacocca's Battle to Save Chrysler''. Previously, Moritz was a staff writer at ''Time'' magazine and a member of the board of directors of Google.
