The Beatnuts
The Beatnuts are an American hip hop group and production duo from New York City. Its current members are JuJu and Psycho Les. JuJu (born Jerry Tineo on December 14, 1968) is a Dominican American from Corona and Psycho Les (born Lester Fernandez on April 10, 1970) is a Colombian American from Jackson Heights, Queens. Although only peripheral members, they are routinely acknowledged by Q-Tip as being members of Native Tongues. The Beatnuts were originally a trio before Fashion (born Berntony Smalls on January 13, 1970), now known as Al' Tariq, left the group to start a solo career. V.I.C. (Groove Merchantz, Ghetto Pros) was also a member of The Beatnuts' production team for a while. History Origins JuJu and Psycho Les grew up in different communities in Queens, New York City. Da Youngsta's is an American rap group from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, that consisted of brothers Taji "Taj Mahal" Goodman (born February 23, 1977) and Qu'ran "Q-Ball" Goodman (March 24, 1978), and their cousin Tarik "Reek Geez" Dawson (February 22, 1976). The group released four albums in four years, experiencing its greatest success with 1993's '' The Aftermath''. Suprême NTM
Suprême NTM (), or simply NTM, is a French hip hop band formed in 1989 in Seine-Saint-Denis. The band comprises rappers JoeyStarr and Kool Shen. Their 6 albums were released by Sony Music Entertainment. The group takes its name from the French slang "NTM", an initialism for "''Nique Ta Mère''" ("Fuck Your Mother"; the vulgar slang word "niquer" is derived from North African Sabir "i nik" ("he makes love"), which in turn comes from the Arabic "nak" (same meaning)). Jorge Antonio Alvarez (born May 1, 1970), better known by his stage names Kurious or Kurious Jorge, is an American hip hop recording artist from New York City.
