''The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love'' is the fourteenth season of ABC reality television series '' The Bachelor''. The season premiere aired on January 4, 2010. The show features 31-year-old Jake Pavelka, a pilot from Dallas, Texas, courting 25 women. Pavelka finished in seventh place on season 5 of ''The Bachelorette'' featuring Jillian Harris. Jacob Lynn "Jake" Pavelka (born January 27, 1978) is an American television personality, pilot, actor, and model who appeared on six reality TV programs, most notably '' The Bachelor''. He is also the CEO of the company "Rhino Removal". Early life and career Pavelka was born in Dallas, Texas to Sallie Lanell (''née'' Mack), a nurse, and James Lynn Pavelka. He is the middle of three sons. His brothers, Jason and Matthew, are both married. He has two nephews. Pavelka grew up in Denton, Texas, and he started taking flying lessons when he was twelve. He eventually worked as a pilot for Atlantic Southeast Airlines, and under the name of Jake Landrum, acted in several television commercials and programs produced in the Dallas area. Imperial is a city in Chase County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 2,071 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Chase County. History The original town of Imperial was built on land homesteaded by Thomas Mercier and M.J. Goodrich. These men gave a town lot to anyone who would put up a building and help to start the town. Mercier was the first postmaster and took office on December 14, 1885. The railroad right of way was graded to Imperial in 1888. The railroad reached Imperial on August 15, 1892. North Potomac, Maryland
North Potomac is a census-designated place and unincorporated area in Montgomery County, Maryland, United States. It is located less than north of the Potomac River, and is about from Washington, D.C. It has a population of 23,790 as of 2020. The region's land was originally used for growing tobacco, which was replaced by wheat and dairy farming after the soil became depleted.
