"Ring Ring" is a song by Swedish group ABBA, released as the title track of their 1973 debut album. Translation into English lyrics was helped by Neil Sedaka and his collaborator Phil Cody. The Swedish version reached No. 1 in the Swedish charts. Overview Recording sessions for ''Waterloo'' began on 24 September 1973 with the track "Dance (While the Music Still Goes On)". This song was unusual in that it is the only ABBA track not to feature member Benny Andersson on keyboards, but instead featured American pianist John Rabbit Bundrick who was in Sweden at the time.Sleeve notes, ''Waterloo'' re-issue, Carl Magnus Palm, 2014 Bundrick, however, was not credited on the album. Three weeks later the next two songs ("Suzy-Hang-Around" and "My Mama Said") went into the studio. Me And Bobby And Bobby's Brother
"Me and Bobby and Bobby's Brother" is a song by ABBA, released on their 1973 album ''Ring Ring (album), Ring Ring''. Synopsis The song is about "a woman's reminiscence of her childhood friends". Critical reception ''Abba - Uncensored on the Record'' said, "the strangely-titled 'Me and Bobby and Bobby's Brother' bears the mark of a relatively inexperienced lyricist", adding that, "Björn Ulvaeus, Björn swiftly improved on this". It also said the song was, "another fairly typical early ditty that was not unlike" Me and Bobby McGee' in melody at times", and that it, "was certainly nothing more than filler (media), album filler". Other versions * Norwegian singer Hans Petter Hansen recorded a Norwegian-language version in 1976, titled ''"Gnist og flammer"'' ("Sparks and flames"). While retaining the original structure and music, the rewritten lyrics were about Hansens' former career as a sheet metal worker in the oil industry. References

Love Isn't Easy (But It Sure Is Hard Enough)
"Love Isn't Easy (But It Sure Is Hard Enough)" is a country rock song recorded by Swedish pop group ABBA. It was the fifth single to be released from their album '' Ring Ring'', but unusually, it was not issued in ABBA's home-country of Sweden, but elsewhere in Scandinavia. It was coupled with "I Am Just a Girl" as its B-side upon release in 1973. The song was one of the last songs to be recorded for the album '' Ring Ring''. The song describes the common phenomenon of a quarrel between lovers, and although the song's title seems to be self-contradictory, it's unlikely that it pertains to a sexual double entendre as some have believed it to be.Scott, Robert (2002) 'ABBA: Thank You for the Music – The Stories Behind Every Song', Carlton Books Limited: Great Britain, p. 31 History The song was written and composed by Benny Andersson & Björn Ulvaeus. All four members of the ABBA share the lead vocals. Track listing # "Love Isn't Easy (But It Sure Is Hard Enough)" # "I Am Just a ...
