The Abominable Snow Rabbit
''The Abominable Snow Rabbit'' is a 1961 Warner Bros. ''Looney Tunes'' theatrical cartoon directed by Chuck Jones and co-directed by Maurice Noble, with a story by Tedd Pierce. The short was released on May 20, 1961, and stars Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. The cartoon's title is taken from the phrase and horror film '' The Abominable Snowman''. It was the final original Chuck Jones theatrical cartoon with Daffy Duck. Plot Bugs tunnels through the Himalayan mountains, followed by Daffy. After a failed attempt by Daffy to go swimming in a frozen pond, the two realize that they are not at their intended destination, Palm Springs (once again, having made a wrong turn at Albuquerque). Daffy tells Bugs that he's going back to Perth Amboy and leaves. Daffy, while underground, crashes into a creature's foot. Chuck Jones
Charles Martin Jones (September 21, 1912 – February 22, 2002) was an American animator, director, and painter, best known for his work with Warner Bros. Cartoons on the ''Looney Tunes'' and ''Merrie Melodies'' series of shorts. He wrote, produced, and/or directed many classic animated cartoon, Animated Cartoon shorts starring Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner, Pepé Le Pew, and Porky Pig, among others. Jones started his career in 1933 alongside Tex Avery, Friz Freleng, Bob Clampett, and Robert McKimson at the Leon Schlesinger Production's Termite Terrace studio, where they created and developed the Looney Tunes characters. During the World War II, Second World War, Jones directed many of the ''Private Snafu'' (1943–1946) shorts which were shown to members of the United States military. ''Daffy Duck's Quackbusters'' is a 1988 animated compilation film featuring classic Warner Bros. Cartoons shorts and animated bridging sequences, starring Daffy Duck. The film was released to theaters by Warner Bros. on September 24, 1988. It was the final theatrical production in which Mel Blanc provided the voices of the various ''Looney Tunes'' characters before his death on July 10, 1989. Unlike previous compilation films, ''Quackbusters'' uses pre-existing music from older ''Looney Tunes'' shorts composed by Carl Stalling, Milt Franklyn and William Lava for both the new animation and classic footage. ''To Grandmother's House We Go'' is a 1992 made-for-television Christmas film directed by Jeff Franklin and starring Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Tregoweth Edmond "Treg" Brown (November 4, 1899 – April 28, 1984) was an American motion picture sound editor who was responsible for the sound effects in Warner Bros.' Hugo the Abominable Snowman is a character in the ''Looney Tunes'' franchise. Personality Hugo is a large, rather naive, and easily fooled Yeti, abominable snowman who really likes bunny rabbits. He likes to name his pets "George" and tried on two occasions to make Bugs Bunny his pet. He seems to be an actual snowman, as he melted when exposed to the sun too long. His character is a takeoff on Lennie Small from ''Of Mice and Men''. "George" refers to Lennie's friend George Milton.
